This piece started out as a piano solo, but since I'm an okay pianist, but a but obsessive about choir, it wasn't a huge surprise that this evolved into a choir piece. In my head, I actually designed it for a pretty dynamic and proficient quintet. But it works quite well as a choral piece as well, though I admit, it isn't the easiest piece ever written.
I hope you can sing/hear the power of this song that I felt as I arranged it. This was my go-to project for several months, and I would just sit at the piano and play it to calm my soul on a troubled day. I hope you, too, can feel that calming of the Spirit and that witness that Jesus is indeed the Christ. I do believe in Christ.
